About the Role:

Tesla is seeking an experienced Robotics Development Specialist to join its Supplier Industrialization team. As a key member of this team, you will collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement efficient robotics solutions for component manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement efficient robotics solutions
  • Lead supplier improvements in scalability, cost, and quality
  • Facilitate communication between Suppliers and Tesla Purchasing, Quality, and Design teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of assembly plant experience supporting high volume segmented motors, complex assembly, machining, lubrication and end of line electrical testing systems
  • Experience in Quality Systems: PPAP/APQP processes; Experience in developing lines for planetary, strain wave, cycloidal, ball screws, belt drives, lead screws, magnetic gear, speed reduction systems with high specific torque, efficiency, and reliability

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Expected annual salary: $116,000 - $252,000 + cash and stock awards + benefits
