Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-focused care and overseeing all operational functions within the unit during their shift. Working closely with the management team, the CNC evaluates nursing practices, serves as a resource for staff, and embodies the organization's core values to enhance patient experiences and clinical results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates patient admissions and discharges to optimize care delivery.
  • Engages in ongoing evaluations of care quality in collaboration with management.
  • Fosters teamwork among staff and other departments to improve service outcomes.
  • Champions a patient-centered approach and addresses service recovery when necessary.
  • Implements nursing strategies to enhance staff engagement and operational efficiency.
  • Participates in the recruitment, training, and development of new nursing staff.
  • Manages staff scheduling in alignment with patient care needs.
  • Oversees inventory management and supply procurement.
Qualifications:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
  • Must be a Registered Nurse.
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
