Key Responsibilities

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-focused care and overseeing all operations within the unit during assigned shifts. The CNC collaborates with management to direct, assess, and enhance nursing care in line with established standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating patient admissions and discharges to optimize care delivery.
  • Engaging in continuous evaluation of patient care quality in collaboration with management.
  • Fostering teamwork and collaboration among staff to enhance service delivery.
  • Promoting a patient-centered philosophy and addressing service recovery as needed.
  • Implementing nursing strategies to boost staff engagement and patient satisfaction.
  • Contributing to the recruitment, training, and development of nursing staff.
  • Managing staff schedules in accordance with patient care requirements.
  • Overseeing inventory management and supply control.
Qualifications
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
  • Current Registered Nurse license.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
