Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for delivering exceptional, patient-focused care and overseeing all departmental functions during assigned shifts. Collaborating with management, the CNC directs, assesses, and evaluates nursing care in line with established protocols, serving as a resource for staff while embodying the organization's mission and values to enhance patient experiences and clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates efficient admission and discharge processes to maintain high-quality patient care.
  • Engages in ongoing evaluations of patient care quality in partnership with management.
  • Fosters teamwork by collaborating with experts and managers to improve service outcomes.
  • Embraces a patient-first approach and addresses service recovery as needed.
  • Enhances staff engagement through operationalizing nursing strategies, including regular staff rounds.
  • Contributes to the recruitment, training, and development of new staff, ensuring compliance with personnel policies.
  • Manages staff scheduling and labor resources in accordance with patient care demands.
  • Oversees inventory management and assists in maintaining supplies and equipment.
Qualifications Required:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • Must be a Registered Nurse.
  • Possession of an Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
