Role ResponsibilitiesThe Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-focused care and overseeing all departmental functions during assigned shifts. Collaborating with management, the CNC directs and evaluates nursing practices in line with established protocols, serves as a resource for staff, and embodies the organization's mission and values to enhance patient experiences and clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitates admission and discharge processes to optimize patient flow and care quality.
- Engages in continuous assessment of patient care quality in collaboration with management.
- Fosters teamwork among staff and management to improve service outcomes.
- Promotes a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery as needed.
- Implements nursing strategies to enhance staff engagement and patient care.
- Participates in the recruitment, training, and development of new staff members.
- Manages staff scheduling and labor management according to patient care needs.
- Oversees inventory control and management of supplies and equipment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
- Registered Nurse license.
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
