In this role, you will be instrumental in the design, implementation, and enhancement of Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) systems along with other artificial lift technologies aimed at maximizing oil and gas production efficiency. This position requires 7-8 years of relevant industry experience, where you will provide expert technical guidance, manage intricate projects, and collaborate closely with clients to achieve optimal results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and customization of ESP systems and various artificial lift technologies, ensuring they meet client specifications and well conditions.
  • Conduct thorough hydraulic calculations and simulations to enhance the functionality of ESP and other lift systems.
  • Identify and specify pump components, including motors, pump stages, and auxiliary equipment, based on production goals and well parameters.
  • Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for ESP systems and artificial lift applications, ensuring peak performance.
  • Resolve complex operational challenges and deliver effective solutions for ESP and artificial lift systems.
  • Perform detailed site evaluations to gather data for system design and performance assessments.
  • Oversee and coordinate projects involving ESP and artificial lift systems from conception to execution, ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
  • Manage project timelines, resource distribution, and adherence to safety and quality protocols.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including sales, manufacturing, and field services, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Engage with clients to comprehend their unique needs, challenges, and operational demands.
  • Prepare and present technical documentation, including comprehensive reports, proposals, and presentations.
  • Stay updated on advancements in ESP and artificial lift technologies, integrating innovative solutions to improve system performance and efficiency.
  • Identify and implement process enhancements and innovative practices to promote operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 7-8 years of experience in the design, application, and optimization of ESP systems and other artificial lift technologies within the oil and gas sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex projects and addressing challenging technical issues related to artificial lift systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in ESP and artificial lift design software and hydraulic simulation tools.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven leadership and project management skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations and industry standards.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to routinely lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to sit, speak, or listen actively for extended periods.
  • Full use of both hands for manipulating objects, tools, or controls.
  • Ability to reach and manipulate objects, tools, or controls.
  • Willingness to walk short distances, sometimes over uneven terrain.
  • Capacity to perform manual tasks requiring periods of significant physical exertion, occasionally under extreme weather conditions.
