We are seeking a highly skilled New Product Development Engineer to join our Artificial Lift team at Baker Hughes Holdings LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions for our oilfield services customers.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical systems for pumps and artificial lift equipment
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to execute projects through the NPI process
- Develop and implement plans to achieve technical requirements, scheduling, and commitments
- Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments with appropriate abatement plans
- Collaborate with sourcing and manufacturing teams to ensure engagement and execution on project deliverables
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Petroleum Engineering from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 1 year of design experience in rotating equipment
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a lead Product Engineer
- Experience with artificial lift systems (ESP, PCP, Gas Lift, and Rod Pumping)
- Proficiency in 3D design (SolidWorks/NX), mechanical design & analysis tool (ANSYS - FEA and CFD)
- Experience with project management
