Candidates should possess 7-8 years of relevant industry experience, providing high-level technical support, managing intricate projects, and collaborating closely with clients to achieve optimal results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and selection of ESP systems and other artificial lift technologies, customized to meet client specifications and well conditions.
- Conduct thorough hydraulic calculations and simulations to improve the efficiency of ESP and other lift systems.
- Choose and specify pump components, including motors, pump stages, and auxiliary equipment, based on production goals and well parameters.
- Provide advanced technical assistance and troubleshooting for ESP systems and artificial lift applications, ensuring peak performance.
- Resolve complex operational challenges and deliver effective solutions for ESP and artificial lift systems.
- Perform detailed site evaluations to gather data for system design and performance assessments.
- Oversee and coordinate projects related to ESP and artificial lift systems from conception to execution, ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
- Manage project timelines, resource distribution, and adherence to safety and quality protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including sales, manufacturing, and field services, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Engage with clients to comprehend their unique needs, challenges, and operational demands.
- Prepare and present technical documentation, including comprehensive reports, proposals, and presentations.
- Stay updated on advancements in ESP and artificial lift technologies, integrating new solutions to enhance system performance and efficiency.
- Identify and implement process enhancements and innovative practices to promote operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 7-8 years of experience in the design, application, and optimization of ESP systems and other artificial lift technologies within the oil and gas sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex projects and addressing challenging technical issues related to artificial lift systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in ESP and artificial lift design software and hydraulic simulation tools.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations and industry standards.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to routinely lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Capable of sitting, speaking, or listening actively for extended periods.
- Full use of both hands for manipulating objects, tools, or controls.
- Ability to reach and manipulate objects, tools, or controls.
- Willingness to walk short distances, occasionally over uneven terrain.
- Capacity to perform manual tasks requiring periods of significant physical exertion, sometimes in extreme weather conditions.
