Senior Vice President of Business Development

The Senior Vice President of Business Development plays a critical role in driving growth and execution for Capstone Logistics. This position is responsible for leading the company's go-to-market strategy, managing a team of sales professionals, and achieving defined revenue and margin targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of sales, marketing, and account management professionals to achieve individual, team, and divisional goals.
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the sales organization, including pipeline management, sales strategy, cross-selling opportunities, and training activities.
- Identify and successfully close opportunities with new, strategic target companies, including designing creative solutions, selling concepts, and building/maintaining relationships.
- Work with division leadership and the Chief Commercial Officer to craft and execute a sales and marketing plan to achieve desired growth goals.
- Deliver sustained top-line and bottom-line growth while maintaining industry-leading win percentages.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in logistics, transportation management, and/or supply chain management consulting.
- Minimum 5 years of sales and/or account management leadership experience in third-party logistics and/or supply chain consulting.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- Significant business development and sales leadership experience required.
- Experience selling a bundled, diverse service offering, with a track record of success establishing a newly created sales strategy.
- Impeccable integrity, enthusiasm, decisiveness, and initiative.
- Consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances.
- Experience with consultative selling techniques and proactive sales processes.
- Strong experience in managing complex and difficult negotiations.
- Highly organized, strategic, and creative personality with strong business acumen.
