About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a key member of our F-35 program, you will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance professionals in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of maintenance professionals in performing routine and complex maintenance tasks on F-35 aircraft.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve maintenance issues and improve overall aircraft performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in a safe and controlled environment, and that all necessary safety protocols are followed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest maintenance technologies and procedures, and implement best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • 6 years minimum fighter aircraft maintenance experience with thorough understanding of Fighter Aircraft Systems and flight line operations.
  • Overall fighter experience must include at least 1 year F-35 aircraft maintenance experience (experience must be within the last 4 years).
  • Leadership experience in an aircraft maintenance environment.
  • Experience with such programs as Aircraft Scheduling/Records Management, Job/Maintenance Control, Configuration Control, Maintenance Information System, Tool and FOD, Time Accounting, Training, Safety, Security, Hazardous Waste Management or Supply Chain Management.
Desired Skills
  • F-35 or Fifth generation aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) or Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS) experience.
  • Understanding of USAF Maintenance Practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills for coordinating with Field Service Representatives, and Maintenance Managers on schedules, aircraft status and issues as they occur.
  • Effective communication skills for coordination at all levels throughout the USAF Wing structure to include Operations, Maintenance, and Logistics Support Managers.
  • Ability to lead diverse workforce.
  • Proficient in the use Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to develop and present formal briefings and presentations.
  • Ability to develop necessary maintenance plans and procedures.
  • Knowledge and understanding of USAF AFI 21-101/8210D.
  • Ability to develop work schedules and assign tasks.
