About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead a team of skilled maintenance professionals in the F-35 program at Lockheed Martin. As an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of F-35 aircraft, while also providing leadership and guidance to your team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the maintenance activities of a team of technicians and mechanics
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with established procedures and regulations
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to ensure optimal aircraft availability
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with overall business objectives
  • Provide training and guidance to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
Requirements
  • 6 years minimum fighter aircraft maintenance experience with thorough understanding of Fighter Aircraft Systems and flight line operations
  • Overall fighter experience must include at least 1 year F-35 aircraft maintenance experience (experience must be within the last 4 years)
  • Leadership experience in an aircraft maintenance environment
  • Experience with programs such as Aircraft Scheduling/Records Management, Job/Maintenance Control, Configuration Control, Maintenance Information System, Tool and FOD, Time Accounting, Training, Safety, Security, Hazardous Waste Management or Supply Chain Management
Desired Skills
  • F-35 or Fifth generation aircraft maintenance experience
  • Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) or Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS) experience
  • Understanding of USAF Maintenance Practices
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills for coordinating with Field Service Representatives, and Maintenance Managers on schedules, aircraft status and issues as they occur
Security Clearance

This position requires a government security clearance, and you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
