Position Overview:

The Identity Management Solutions Engineer plays a crucial role within the Cyber Security Engineering Task Force, focusing on the development of automated solutions for user provisioning and de-provisioning on a global scale. This position is integral to ensuring the security and efficiency of identity governance processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee multiple engineering initiatives, including the development of Java clients, services, and SailPoint IdentityIQ workflows to fulfill user provisioning needs.
  • Articulate and simplify Citi's user provisioning lifecycle and architecture for various stakeholders.
  • Conduct technical demonstrations for application teams, showcasing Citi's provisioning framework.
  • Apply expertise in SailPoint user provisioning and fine-grained entitlement management as required.
  • Engage in proactive problem-solving and process improvement discussions.
  • Adhere to the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC), ensuring best practices in code reviews, repository management, and secure coding.
  • Maintain meticulous JIRA tracking for engineering tasks and projects.
  • Document engineering artifacts, including release notes and test case details, for each project.
  • Work independently on assigned projects while collaborating effectively with team members.
  • Provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance and resilience.
  • Actively participate in all necessary meetings and discussions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development.
  • Proficiency in Object-Oriented Concepts and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
  • Experience with SOAP Web Services and frameworks such as JSF, Spring, or Struts.
  • Familiarity with application integration using BPM, BPEL, and ESB technologies.
  • Solid SQL and Linux skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Preferred experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ and PKI Cryptography.

  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated perseverance and follow-through on tasks.
  • Expertise in systems analysis, software design, and development, particularly in Java.
  • Proficiency with Java, J2EE, SQL, and web services.
  • Experience with enterprise systems such as SSO, LDAP, and Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of secure programming practices and PKI security concepts.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
