Job Overview

Compensation: $16 per hour

Stepp's Towing and Heavy Transport is seeking a dedicated Vehicle Release Specialist who will be responsible for managing vehicle releases, overseeing vehicle inventory, and performing various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to work autonomously, adhere to management directives, and have prior experience in cashiering and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers at the cashier station with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Process cash, checks, and credit card transactions from customers, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Handle impoundment documentation while ensuring compliance with relevant towing and impoundment regulations.
  • Maintain customer information in our service database.
  • Perform administrative and clerical tasks as required.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift, crawl, pull, and engage in repetitive hand movements, along with significant bending, reaching, climbing, and maintaining physical strength and stamina.

Necessary Skills:

  • Experience in data entry and customer service.
  • Hands-on experience in high-pressure or emergency situations.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
