Your Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for the safe repair and upkeep of company-owned vehicles and equipment, adhering to all operational guidelines. Your tasks will include:

  • Conducting inspections, diagnosing issues, and repairing a variety of company vehicles such as cars, trucks, vans, buses, trams, golf carts, and utility vehicles.
  • Maintaining and repairing small engine equipment (e.g., mowers, trimmers, pressure washers) and heavy machinery (forklifts, cranes, high-reach equipment).
  • Completing necessary documentation accurately.
  • Inspecting and fixing pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Operating automotive lifts, high-reach equipment, forklifts, and other machinery safely.
  • Maintaining and operating parking lot cleaning equipment.
  • Providing exceptional service to guests.
  • Assisting guests and team members with minor automotive issues (e.g., flat tires, jump starts).
  • Interacting positively with vendors to procure parts and supplies.
  • Performing cleaning and other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications for Success:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience or completion of automotive vocational training.
  • ASE certification in brakes.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Ability to obtain a company driver's license and pass a DOT physical examination.
  • Capability to train and achieve SeaWorld forklift and high-reach certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and push/pull 100 lbs. independently, as well as push 1,000 lbs. with assistance.
  • Comfortable working at heights, around water, and in varying weather conditions.
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools.
  • Ability to operate machinery and utilize protective equipment.
  • Self-sufficient problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Flexible scheduling availability.
  • Preferred knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Understanding of automotive electrical and mechanical controls is desirable.
  • Experience in operating heavy equipment is a plus.
  • Background in other maintenance-related fields is highly advantageous.
Compensation: $18.00 per hour
