The Vehicle Appearance Specialist will be responsible for cleaning, refurbishing, and detailing vehicles sold by the dealership. This role includes inspecting for any imperfections during the cleaning process and addressing them or notifying management as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly clean, refurbish, and detail vehicles for customer delivery post-repair, covering all areas including exterior, interior, underside, trunk, and under the hood.
  • Apply pin stripes, decals, and emblems as needed.
  • Polish and wax vehicles as directed.
  • Report any imperfections to management.
  • Retrieve and return vehicles to the shop or storage areas.
  • Maintain a clean working environment.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal.
  • Exhibit behavior that aligns with the company's Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Inspect the quality of work performed to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Must meet the company's employment criteria.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is required.
  • Professional appearance is essential.
  • Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Good judgment and the ability to follow directions are necessary.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work in various weather conditions, both outdoors and in the shop.
  • Capable of lifting over 30 pounds.
  • Able to stoop, kneel, crawl, reach, and handle parts and equipment.
  • Comfortable working in environments that may be dusty and involve various chemical compounds and paints.
