About the Role

The Head Pastry Chef is a key member of our culinary team, responsible for overseeing the quality of pastry products and ensuring that all supplies, equipment, and work areas meet company standards. This role requires a passion for food, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the production of high-quality pastry products
  • Inspect all supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure company standards
  • Develop and implement seasonal menu changes in conjunction with Executive Chefs
  • Train and educate front-of-house staff in shift meetings
  • Maintain exceptional quality of food, adhering to standards of excellence
  • Identify and define business needs, implementing solutions to improve operations and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Head Pastry Chef or higher
  • At least 5 years of pastry experience
  • Experience working with a similar cuisine
  • Great English language communication skills with a willingness to learn
  • Ability to maintain and follow recipes, processes, and standards
  • Drive and ambition with a desire to learn and grow within the team
  • Flexible availability, working any 5 days a week between Monday – Sunday
