We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Development Manager to join our team at DENSO Air Systems Inc. As a Sales Development Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining effective long-term relationships with our customers, identifying new sales opportunities, and developing and implementing marketing and sales plans to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement yearly marketing and sales plans for assigned accounts, providing a yearly forecast for each account and reporting to department and product management.
- Support accounts by attending trade shows, open houses, and vendor days to represent DENSO Air Systems Inc. products to current and prospective accounts, relaying industry information to department and product managers.
- Manage current accounts, maintaining frequent communication with customers regarding account status, any order or delivery issues, informing on new or redesigned products, and any other issues.
- Conduct market research on and travel to prospect for new customers to inform and demonstrate assigned company products.
- Collaborate with the product development group to create and facilitate product training for assigned products.
- Travel to company headquarters and branches for scheduled meetings and training sessions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to define program, project, or process objectives, identify customers/stakeholders, and their interests, plan steps, and coordinate resources to accomplish goals and objectives in an effective and timely manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interpret information based on a general knowledge of the organization, its products, and procedures, and provide an independent explanation and discussion based on the technical or complex nature of the materials being discussed.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to approach every business relationship as a partnership.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to independently evaluate and develop innovative solutions to complex situations, applying knowledge of specialty area and use of sound judgment.
- Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to resolve difficult or complicated situations that are often sensitive in nature, recognizing and applying subtle cues in anticipating customers' needs and potential next steps, and taking a strong stand without indicating disrespect and seeking positive outcomes.
- Demonstrated competency in working with computer software and mainframe applications to manipulate, analyze, and reconcile data.
- A Kaizen mindset and the ability to effectively apply the PDCA process.

Standard ADA Selection Office Environment
Visual requirements include color, depth perception, and field of vision. The work environment for this position is typically indoors in a pleasant, well-lighted area with comfortable temperatures and a controlled environment with no significant amounts of dust, fumes, or odors. Unavoidable accidents and health hazards are unlikely.
Travel Requirements
50% Travel is required up to 50% of the time, and work is done remotely from a home office when not traveling. May be required to sit for long periods of time during travel.
