Customer Service Specialist Job Description

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our wholesale and retail customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to customers in person and over the phone
  • Determine customer needs and present appropriate products and services
  • Build trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers
  • Process sales transactions accurately and consistently
  • Meet sales goals and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date with product features and maintain high-quality visual standards
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment
  • Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English and Spanish
  • Must be able to tint paint consistent with customer color requests
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
  • Previous experience selling paint and paint-related products
