Guest Services Associate, GRAMMY Museum

We are seeking a highly motivated Guest Services Associate to join our team at the GRAMMY Museum in downtown Los Angeles. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests and visitors, while also assisting management with ticketing and retail store operations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist customers with ticket purchases and provide information about the GRAMMY Museum and L.A. Live.
- Monitor timed ticket allotments to ensure compliance with capacity limits.
- Provide information to guests and visitors about the GRAMMY Museum and L.A. Live.
- Oversee ticket operations in manager's absence and follow procedures for opening/closing ticket booths.
- Accurately reconcile all ticket sales at the end of each business day.
- Work closely with operations staff to monitor crowd flow and capacity limits.
- Maintain cleanliness of work station and retail store at all times.
- Assist management with special projects and store duties.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail experience required.
- Strong cash handling experience.
- Experience operating a POS/register system.
- Experience with retail store merchandise displays and promotions.
- A dynamic and positive personality with demonstrate professionalism and respect when dealing with clients, customers, and team members.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the desire to lead by example.
- Excellent oral/written communication skills.
- Bilingual language skills a plus.
- Punctuality in reporting to work and returning from breaks.
The starting hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour, benchmarked against industry standards. Salaries for positions required to be in specific geographic locations reflect the corresponding labor market. Staff positions working 20+ hours per week also will receive our comprehensive benefits package (with medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401k match, generous paid time off, and more).
