Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Guest Services Associate to join our team at National Health Foundation. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our guests, ensuring a safe and healthy environment that promotes dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safety and security of our recuperative care facility, conducting daily inspections and room checks to maintain a clean and secure environment.
  • Perform guest intake responsibilities, providing a detailed orientation of program guidelines and developing rapport with guests to gather feedback.
  • Create and lead engagement activities to promote guest well-being and build trust through constant engagement and checking in.
  • Assist nursing, social services, and external partners with guest appointments and check-ins, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Support management in maintaining bed availability and supplies inventory, ensuring a smooth operation of the facility.
  • Respond to guest concerns and provide positive intervention encounters, promoting a positive and respectful environment.
  • Attend all meetings and training sessions, including shift handoffs and training on topics such as BLS, Crisis Prevention, Harm Reduction, and Trauma-Informed Care.
  • Perform laundry, clothing requests, and mealtime duties, and assist with housekeeping services as needed.
  • Model a positive professional image and adhere to the organization's dress code, promoting a positive and respectful work environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of caregiver experience in a healthcare or recuperative care environment.
  • Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks effectively and efficiently.
  • Current BLS certification preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, guests, and visitors.
Physical Requirements

The duties of this position require frequent standing and walking, with frequent bending, stooping, and lifting of up to 50 pounds. The employee must also be able to utilize conversational speech for effective verbal communication.
