Onsite Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Onsite Technical Support Specialist to join our team at AVI-SPL. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing on-site support to our customers, ensuring that their audiovisual systems are functioning optimally.
Key Responsibilities- Provide on-site technical support to customers, including setup, maintenance, and repair of audiovisual systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including testing and repairing cables, and testing and repairing hardware components.
- Install and configure control programs, including AMX, Crestron, and firmware.
- Deliver field service support for control programs, including minor edits, compilation, upload, and download.
- Provide technical support for networked devices, including routers, IP protocols, and other network equipment.
- Travel to various job sites as required, and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of audiovisual integration experience.
- Advanced computer knowledge and proficiency in signal flow for audio, video, and control.
- Valid driver's license and a motor vehicle record that meets AVI-SPL driving standards.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to regularly climb and work from ladders up to heights of 35 feet, and lift equipment, tools, and materials.
- Crestron programming experience, professional installation experience, Extron AV Associate, Extron Authorized Programmer, InfoComm Quick Start to the AV Industry, InfoComm CTS/CTS-I/CTS-D Certification, Network Certification (Cisco CCNA/Netgear/AVB), DSP Certification (BiAmp/QSC/Extron), and UCC Training.
- OSHA 10 or 30-Hour Construction Safety Course.
