Resolution Technologies, Inc. is in search of a skilled IT Help Desk Support Specialist. This role involves delivering daily assistance to both in-person and remote users within the organization, effectively managing and prioritizing incidents and requests through ServiceNow. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong troubleshooting capabilities, incident resolution skills, thorough documentation practices, and excellent interpersonal abilities while navigating a dynamic user environment.
Key Responsibilities of the IT Help Desk Support Specialist
• Incident Management: Efficiently prioritize and manage incidents and service requests utilizing ServiceNow.
• User Support: Provide daily support to both walk-in and remote users, assisting them in evaluating and resolving their IT challenges.
• Phone Support: Respond to phone inquiries promptly, offering immediate assistance and resolving user issues or directing calls as needed.
• Customer Engagement: Maintain a high standard of customer service, showcasing strong interpersonal skills to ensure a positive experience for users.
• Technical Problem-Solving: Rapidly identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues, escalating complex problems when necessary.
• Documentation Practices: Accurately record all incidents, requests, and resolutions in ServiceNow.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other IT team members to ensure seamless support and knowledge sharing.
• Office Availability: Be present at the office during standard working hours to assist users in person.
Required Qualifications for the IT Help Desk Support Specialist
• Demonstrated experience in a similar IT Support or Service Desk role.
• Minimum of 2 years of technical support experience.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow for managing incidents and requests.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting abilities.
• Capability to thrive in a high-demand environment with diverse user needs.
• Dedication to ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications for the IT Help Desk Support Specialist
• Relevant technical certifications are preferred: Candidates should possess one of the following certifications A+, Network+, or Security +, or have a minimum of 2 years of technical support experience in a Service Desk capacity.
• Familiarity with remote support tools and methodologies.
