Job Summary:

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking an Administrative Officer 2 to join our team. As an Administrative Officer 2, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Audit and Compliance Division (ACD), Audit Support Unit.

Work includes establishing, maintaining, and enhancing data exchanges received from government agencies both at the federal and state level for subsequent data cross matching with the Office of UC Tax Services UCMS tax files to generate possible audit lead queries.

The data query output will be analyzed further to select audit leads.

You will be responsible for receiving additional requests for investigations that will need to be analyzed to determine if an audit lead is viable thus reducing costs and giving auditors quality audit leads.

You will have the opportunity to analyze audit and investigative results to provide feedback and recommendations to auditors and management for improvements to the overall audit process and to ensure UC Tax Services is compliant with the Tax Performance System (TPS) measures.


Responsibilities:

• Establish, maintain, and enhance data exchanges received from government agencies
• Analyze data query output to select audit leads
• Receive and analyze additional requests for investigations
• Provide feedback and recommendations to auditors and management

Requirements:

• One year as an Administrative Officer 1; or Three years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management or staff work, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, or procurement; and a bachelor's degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training

Working Conditions:

This position will have access to Federal Tax Information (FTI) and is subject to the provisions of IRS Publication 1075 (Pub 1075) which requires you to pass an enhanced background check prior to beginning employment.
