Patient Access Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Officer to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth registration of patients and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Registration and Verification: Accurately and efficiently register patients, verify demographic information, and ensure the completeness and accuracy of insurance information.
- Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external customers, including patients, families, and healthcare providers, to ensure seamless registration and billing processes.
- Knowledge and Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Patient Access updates, regulations, and policies, and ensure compliance with all relevant standards and procedures.
- Teamwork and Adaptability: Work collaboratively with registration and ED clinical staff to ensure effective and accurate patient registration, billing, and financial success.
- Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required; previous hospital registration experience preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated ability to comprehend verbal and written direction, basic computer skills, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
