Job Title: Program Specialist, PM

AltaPointe Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Program Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Residential Services Program, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to children and adolescents with severe emotional or behavioral disturbances.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide ongoing monitoring and documentation of consumer progress, ensuring timely and accurate completion of required documentation.
  • Engage consumers in planned activities, promoting their safety, well-being, and participation in therapeutic programs.
  • Assist consumers with personal hygiene, medical appointments, and daily living skills, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Collaborate with treatment team members, including nursing staff, therapy staff, and recreation therapy staff, to ensure effective milieu management and crisis intervention.
  • Document all interactions, incidents, and consumer progress in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to AltaPointe's policies and procedures.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement activities, completing tasks in a timely manner and following policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in a mental health discipline or Social Work preferred.
  • Knowledge of child and adolescent mental health, including psychiatric disorders, growth and development, and principles of play therapy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with treatment team members, consumers, and families, demonstrating a commitment to providing exceptional care and support.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Flexibility to work on any unit at BayPointe, as directed, and willingness to participate in Performance Improvement activities.
