POSITION SUMMARY

The Client Relations Associate plays a crucial role within Financial Foundations, Inc., acting as the primary liaison between our valued clients and our dedicated team. This position requires an exceptional communicator with a passion for learning, who will contribute to fostering a positive culture and collaborative spirit within our organization and among our clients.

This role is designed as a professional pathway towards the successful completion of a CFP professional program and examination, with educational expenses covered by the company (certain limitations apply).

Key Responsibilities:


• Engage with clients during meetings, supporting Advisors and gradually enhancing the value of discussions while meticulously gathering necessary data and follow-up items.


• Collaborate with Senior and Lead Advisors to develop and prepare comprehensive financial plans tailored to clients' needs, ensuring that recommendations are in the best interest of the clients.


• Effectively communicate with clients to understand their objectives, concerns, and goals, translating these insights into actionable financial strategies.


• Coordinate with clients' other advisors (such as attorneys and CPAs) and external resources to achieve client service objectives.


• Maintain ongoing client engagement through follow-ups and addressing additional needs that may arise before and after meetings.

Qualifications:

Education and Licensing:


• A bachelor's degree with the intention or ability to qualify for the CFP exam within two years.


• Possession of Series 65 or 66 license.


• 2-5 years of experience in a direct advisory role within the financial services sector.


• A strong desire to serve clients, coupled with a commitment to personal and professional growth.


• Proven consultative sales skills, complemented by excellent interpersonal and listening abilities.


• Leadership experience is advantageous.


• Familiarity with various custodial platforms (e.g., Fidelity, Schwab) is preferred.

Skills & Expertise:


• Knowledge in financial planning and investment management.


• Proficiency in Microsoft 360, Redtail, eMoney, Tamarac, and Riskalyze is preferred.


• Exceptional communication skills, including verbal, written, and empathetic listening.


• Demonstrated integrity and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.


• Capability to manage stress in a dynamic financial environment.


• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and foresee potential challenges.
