Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Construction Project Coordinator to join our team at Keller Brothers, Inc. as an Assistant Project Manager. This role will play a crucial part in supporting the Project Manager in planning, directing, and coordinating daily construction management activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Support: Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in ensuring timely processing and execution of project reporting, including request for information logs, submittal logs, task tracking logs, change management logs, progress reports, meeting minutes, and other project-specific documentation tracking tools.
  • Proposal and Contract Management: Assist in preparing technical proposals and presentations, contract packages, budgets, research, correspondence, meeting minutes, reports, change orders, closeout documents, invoices, and other necessary documents.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare bi-weekly owner's progress meeting project status reports and participate in weekly trade/subcontractor coordination meetings as necessary.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with contract documents, project schedules, and specifications, and resolve scope of work disputes and track field time relative to change management.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist in ensuring duties assigned to others are completed and reviewed for exactness, neatness, and conformance to company policies and procedures.
  • Business Development and Client Relations: Aid in business development and client relations by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized project site, and review project budget and timeframe with the Project Manager and ensure a good understanding.
  • Continuous Improvement: Provide input on new and innovative ways to approach company needs, study and present standardization ideas to improve efficiency and effectiveness, and understand client needs and achieve an acceptable level of satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Strong Project Management Skills: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong understanding of project management principles.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software, such as Asana, Trello, or MS Project, and ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
