Front Desk Clerk Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Clerk to join our team at the Embassy Suites Nashville at Vanderbilt, managed by Moody National Management LP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs in a professional and efficient manner to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Respond to customer concerns, issues, and inquiries in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Pre-register, block reservations, and take same-day reservations following hotel rate structures and sell strategies.
  • Accurately complete logs and reports as specified by management.
  • Arrange for alternative lodging for guests when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Solid working knowledge of related company and brand policies, procedures, and services.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication, and telephone etiquette skills.
  • Hotel Front Desk experience preferred, Hilton OnQ experience is a plus.
  • Excellent command of the English language; second language proficiency desirable.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
