Job Description

Job Title: Global Market Intelligence Manager

Job Summary:

Eaton's AER Aerospace Group division is seeking a Global Market Intelligence Manager to provide strategic leadership in market research and assessment. This role will be responsible for creating, publishing, and maintaining the Aerospace strategic plan, as well as identifying market drivers, trends, and competitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop monthly market overviews and implications for Eaton's business
  • Analyze customer and platform life cycles, and generate Eaton forecasts and scenarios
  • Perform monthly and quarterly analysis of Eaton's business versus market growth rates
  • Lead the aggregation and analysis of aircraft production forecasts and market segment growth rates
  • Support the development of the Aerospace Group strategic plan and key strategic initiatives
  • Develop business cases for product teams, sales, finance, and operations through market analysis
  • Support business development teams with executive presentations and reviews
  • Lead competitive deep dive analysis of major Aerospace Group competitors
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • 5+ years of experience in industry analysis, marketing manager, business development, or a combination of similar experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Aerospace industry analysis, marketing manager, business development, or a combination of similar experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • Must be a US person within the meaning of ITAR
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize complex issues for executive reporting
  • Ability to create and organize ad hoc teams, motivate diverse groups, and influence successful outcomes
  • Self-driven and self-sufficient individual requiring minimum supervision
  • Ability to influence EAG SLT and obtain results from resources and staff outside of direct control
