Job Title: Lead Systems Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Systems Technician to join our team at Vector Security, Inc. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining residential integrated security systems, including fire alarm, card access, CCTV, networking, and burglar alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and configure residential integrated security systems, ensuring compliance with local jurisdiction requirements.
  • Actively participate in company initiatives, such as securing referrals and upselling, to drive business growth.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Mentor junior technicians, sharing technical knowledge and best practices to improve individual and branch capabilities.
  • Stay up-to-date with new products and solutions, applying this knowledge to improve system design and installation.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5 years of field experience or equivalent technical service education or certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in fire detection and signaling systems.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving history.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to decipher/design integrated systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in company skills and best practices, including safety and equipment usage.
  • Ability to demonstrate proficient understanding of software and programming for primary manufacturers used by the home branch.
