The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music's Music Industry programs is seeking applications for part-time lecturer roles for the academic year. Compensation will be aligned with the qualifications and experience of the applicant; the percentage of appointment will correlate with the number of courses taught.
Responsibilities will encompass individual student mentorship and the delivery of assigned undergraduate and graduate courses within the School of Music.
Applicants should possess a well-established regional, national, and/or international reputation as a music industry expert; experience in the formulation of music industry curriculum is highly regarded. Instructional experience at the university level is preferred. Candidates with a graduate degree in Musicology or related disciplines are encouraged to apply.

QualificationsBasic Qualifications
- Proven experience as a music industry professional and/or educator.
Additional Qualifications- Applicants should have a well-established regional, national, and/or international reputation as a music industry professional.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience and expertise in the development of music industry curriculum is preferred.
- Instructional experience at the university level is preferred.
- A graduate degree in Musicology or a related field is preferred.
