Peoria Music Academy LLC is seeking a dedicated and passionate Music Instructor to lead our Beginning Voice program. As a volunteer music educator, you will have the opportunity to share your love of music with students of all ages and skill levels.
Responsibilities:
- Guide students through lessons, providing personalized instruction and feedback
- Teach a range of vocal techniques and exercises, including warm-ups and cool-downs
- Assist with lesson planning, ensuring a well-structured and engaging curriculum
- Communicate professionally with students, parents, and colleagues
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment, fostering a sense of community and inclusivity
Requirements:
- 18+ years of age
- Passion for teaching music and sharing with others
- Comfortable working with singers of different ages and skill levels
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Availability to commit to at least one day per week, 10am-12pm or 1-3pm
