About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Legends. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for directing and administering the planning, preparation, production, and control of all culinary operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations of all catering kitchens, ensuring compliance with all standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing culinary team, providing coaching, training, and performance development.
  • Analyze menu and food costs, preparing cost and quality efficient menus and specials.
  • Prepare annual budgets and ensure all fiscal responsibilities are met.
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring all outlets are adequately supplied.
  • Maintain effective vendor relationships and ensure compliance with local health department standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency, quality, food, and labor costs.
Requirements
  • Minimum three (3) years as an executive chef in a high-volume food industry.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience as an executive sous chef in a high-volume full-service food operation.
  • Proven track record in improving kitchen efficiency, quality, food, and labor costs.
  • Must have a degree or certification from an accredited culinary arts institute, or apprenticeship certification from the American Culinary Federation.
  • Excellent managerial, financial analysis, team building, and communication skills/customer service.
