Job Summary:

AccorHotel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation in our hotel's kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our hotel's culinary expertise and meet the needs of our guests.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure consistent quality and high standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Coordinate with the Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Director to plan and execute special events and functions.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses to ensure profitability.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all kitchen staff.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the highest quality of ingredients and equipment.
  • Perform other tasks and projects as assigned by hotel management.

Requirements:

  • 12-15 years of experience in kitchen management, with a strong background in culinary arts and administration.
  • Advanced courses or experience in kitchen administration.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and training skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Food Handler Card.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
