Job Overview

Role Summary

Are you a skilled Field Service Technician with a background in Fuel Dispensers and Point of Sale systems? If you possess the necessary expertise, we invite you to explore an opportunity with OWL Services.

As a Field Service Technician, your responsibilities will include the installation, maintenance, and repair of fuel dispensing systems and related electronic equipment. You will also have the chance to expand your knowledge across various systems within the facilities to support general maintenance tasks.

Daily Responsibilities

Execute service and installation tasks for petroleum equipment efficiently and professionally.

  • Document all service calls accurately at the time of service.
  • Participate in training programs to stay updated on certifications and equipment knowledge.
  • Provide assistance and product support to clients, fostering long-term relationships.
  • Manage multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with clients both in person and over the phone.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals.

Is This Position Right for You?

  • At least 2 years of experience as a petroleum service technician.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Positive and proactive attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience or education in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Trades.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
  • Availability for travel, including potential overnight assignments.
  • Experience with Point-of-Sale systems installation and repair is essential.
  • Familiarity with Wayne or Gilbarco Dispensers is advantageous.
  • Experience with Verifone systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of computer networking is beneficial.
  • Clean driving record and commitment to safety are required.
  • Able to lift and handle equipment weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Good driving record with no traffic violations is necessary.

  • Veeder Root
  • Fuel Master
  • Red Jacket
  • FE Petro
  • Franklin Fueling Systems equipment.

Additional Requirements

  • The role involves standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing.
  • Use of a ladder is necessary.
  • Ability to lift and manage up to 50 pounds is required.
  • Travel is a component of the position.
  • Weekend and evening work may be necessary based on demand.
