Position Summary

Are you a skilled Field Service Technician with a background in Fuel Dispensers and Point of Sale systems? If you possess the necessary expertise, we invite you to explore a rewarding opportunity with OWL Services.

As a Field Service Technician, your responsibilities will encompass the installation, maintenance, and repair of fuel dispensing systems and related equipment. You will also be expected to familiarize yourself with various systems within the facilities to assist with general maintenance tasks.

Daily Responsibilities

Your role will involve executing service and installation tasks for petroleum equipment in a professional and efficient manner. Key duties include:

  • Completing service call documentation promptly during each visit.
  • Participating in training programs to keep your certifications and knowledge up to date.
  • Providing support and guidance to customers to foster long-term relationships.
  • Managing multiple responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.
  • Communicating effectively with clients both in person and via phone.
  • Collaborating with team members to achieve common goals.

Candidate Profile

To be successful in this position, you should meet the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a petroleum service technician.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A positive attitude and attention to detail.
  • At least 2 years of experience or education in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Trades.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
  • Availability for travel, including potential overnight assignments.
  • Experience with Point-of-Sale systems installation and repair is essential.
  • Familiarity with Wayne or Gilbarco dispensers is advantageous.
  • Experience with Verifone systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of computer networking is beneficial.
  • A clean driving record and commitment to safety are required.
  • Ability to lift and handle equipment weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Good driving record with no traffic violations.

  • Franklin Fueling Systems equipment.

Physical Requirements

  • This position involves standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing.
  • Use of a ladder is necessary.
  • Ability to lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds is required.
  • Travel is a part of the job.
  • Weekend and evening work may be necessary based on demand.
