Job Overview

Position Summary

Are you a skilled Field Service Technician with a background in Fuel Dispensers and Point of Sale systems? If you possess the necessary expertise, consider becoming a vital part of OWL Services.

As a Field Service Technician, your responsibilities will encompass tasks such as the installation, repair, and maintenance of fuel dispensers and point of sale systems. You will also be expected to familiarize yourself with various systems within the facilities to support general maintenance efforts.

Daily Responsibilities

Execute service and installation calls for petroleum equipment with professionalism, efficiency, and a commitment to quality.

  • Complete service call documentation promptly during each visit.
  • Participate in training programs to stay updated on certifications and equipment knowledge.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for clients, providing product support to foster long-term relationships.
  • Manage multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with clients in person and over the phone.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience as a petroleum service technician.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Positive and proactive attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience or education in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Trades.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to travel, including potential overnight assignments.
  • Experience with Point-of-Sale installation and repair is essential.
  • Familiarity with Wayne or Gilbarco Dispensers is advantageous.
  • Experience with Verifone systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of computer networking is beneficial.
  • Valid driving record and commitment to safety are required.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Good driving record with no traffic violations is mandatory.

Additional Information

  • Use of a ladder is necessary.
  • Ability to lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds is required.
  • Travel is a component of this role.
  • Weekend and evening work may be necessary based on demand.
