Vaco is collaborating with a prominent global organization in search of a Corporate Legal Assistant to bolster their Legal Division.

This position will involve conducting legal inquiries, drafting and evaluating documents, aiding in the formulation and modification of policies, and managing corporate documentation. The role encompasses engagement with intellectual property, agreements, and procurement contracts.

This is a direct hire opportunity, requiring on-site presence. The work schedule is structured with in-office days and remote work options.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the General Counsel across various corporate legal matters.
  • Assist attorneys with tasks related to litigation support.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with external legal advisors to update litigation records and reserve information.
  • Perform research on legal regulations, literature, judicial rulings, and other legal resources; provide analytical insights to attorneys.
  • Draft documents for the development and execution of corporate policies.
  • Possibly draft and negotiate various contracts, including non-disclosure agreements and other legal documents.
  • Contribute to special projects and initiatives in collaboration with the Legal team.
  • Exercise discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the General Counsel.

Qualifications:

  • Mandatory paralegal certification, along with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
