Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, format, revise, and manage sensitive agreements and communications.
- Liaise directly with executives on confidential legal issues.
- Develop and enforce legal protocols and workflows as necessary.
- Perform legal research and evaluations, particularly focusing on corporate law.
- Assist with equity transactions, cap table modifications, and equity buybacks.
- Aid in the formation of global entities.
- Provide assistance on various special projects as needed.
- Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
- Utilize NetDocs (NetDocuments) for effective document management.
- Organize and update diverse spreadsheets, charts, and summaries.
- Comprehend and manage the workflow of C-Level Executives.
- Familiarity with Carta or similar cap table management tools is advantageous.
- Employ electronic signature and scheduling applications to ensure timely document processing and distribution.
- E-file and categorize a substantial volume of electronic files for easy access to pertinent documents.
Qualifications:
- A Paralegal Certificate or Legal Assistant Certificate is mandatory.
- Strong background in cap table management and corporate legal matters is preferred.
- Outstanding time-management abilities with the capacity to prioritize both immediate and long-term projects effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
