Position Title: Floral Delivery Driver - Mass Market

Position Summary:

Are you enthusiastic about floral arrangements and enjoy driving? We are seeking a Floral Delivery Driver for our Mass Market division. This dynamic position involves transporting and displaying exquisite floral products to prominent retail outlets, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the quality of our offerings.

As a Floral Delivery Driver, your primary responsibility will be to deliver floral products to designated retail locations using a refrigerated vehicle. Punctuality is essential, as deliveries are typically scheduled for the morning hours. You will also follow specific procedures for product check-in at each store to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Maintaining appealing floral displays is a vital part of this role. You will be tasked with setting up and rotating stock to ensure freshness and aesthetic appeal. Responsibilities include removing unsellable or outdated products, cleaning display areas, and upholding presentation standards to guarantee our flowers are always visually captivating. Conducting inventory checks and collaborating with the team for effective stock replenishment is crucial, as is preparing for subsequent deliveries. To uphold quality assurance, you will document completed displays with photographs and share them with your supervisor for evaluation.

Effective product management is another key responsibility. You will ensure that product tags are accurate, including item descriptions, UPCs, and expiration dates. Handling and merchandising a variety of floral items, such as cut flowers, bouquets, and leis, will be part of your duties. Collaborating with the team to adjust orders based on sales trends and inventory levels will help maintain optimal stock levels.

Providing exceptional customer service is essential. You will address basic inquiries and resolve any concerns during deliveries, following a structured communication approach to ensure professionalism and consistency.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must possess a valid driver's license and the capability to operate a cargo van. A clean driving record, free from DUIs or cellphone citations, is mandatory. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds, along with basic math skills and the capacity to follow written instructions, is required. Familiarity with flower care and handling is advantageous, as are strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in floral delivery or merchandising is preferred, along with knowledge of the local area and the ability to navigate using a road map.
