Position Overview:
As a key player in defense operations, your extensive experience will empower you to innovate, challenge norms, and explore uncharted territories. Your Role:
In the capacity of a Logistics Planner, you will utilize your diverse logistics expertise encompassing supply chain management, fuel logistics, maintenance operations, transportation, air mobility, life support, and contracting at both tactical and operational tiers. Your familiarity with the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) and the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) will be instrumental in formulating and executing plans and directives to meet joint sustainment training objectives. You will draw upon your experience and specialized knowledge when collaborating with Division or Corps representatives. Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in logistics roles within the Marine or Army Corps and Division
  • 4+ years of experience in Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) planning
  • 2+ years of experience with live, virtual, and constructive exercises or an assignment at a Combat Training Center (CTC)
  • Familiarity with Army and Joint Doctrine Training Policy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Possession of a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a Joint or Multinational Headquarters
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities
  • Graduation from Command and General Staff College (CGSC), Intermediate Level Education (ILE), Military Education Level (MEL) 4, or Sergeants' Major Academy
  • Completion of the Airload Planner's Course
  • Graduation from the Joint Logistics Course
  • Completion of the Support Operations Phase II Course

Clearance Requirements:
Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.
