As a Floral Delivery Driver, your primary responsibility will be to transport floral merchandise to designated retail locations using a refrigerated vehicle. Punctuality in deliveries, primarily scheduled for the morning hours, is vital. Following specific protocols for product check-in at stores will facilitate compliance and ensure smooth operations.

Maintaining attractive floral displays is essential in this role. You will be tasked with setting up and rotating stock to ensure freshness and visual appeal. Duties include removing unsellable or outdated items, cleaning display areas, and upholding overall presentation standards to guarantee our floral products are always showcased beautifully. Conducting inventory checks and collaborating with the team for efficient stock replenishment is crucial, as is preparing for subsequent deliveries. To uphold quality standards, you will document completed displays with photographs and submit them for supervisory review.

Effective product management is another key responsibility. It is important to ensure that product tags are accurate, including descriptions, UPCs, and expiration dates. You will handle and merchandise a diverse range of floral items, such as cut flowers, bouquets, and leis. Working with the team to adjust orders based on sales trends and inventory levels will optimize stock management.

Providing outstanding customer service is imperative. You will address basic inquiries and resolve any concerns during deliveries, adhering to a straightforward communication script to maintain professionalism.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must possess a valid driver's license and the capability to operate a cargo van. A clean driving record, free from DUIs or cellphone violations, is essential. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds, along with basic math skills and the capacity to follow written instructions, is required. Familiarity with flower care and handling is advantageous, as are strong communication skills and a customer service focus.

Preferred Skills:

Prior experience in floral delivery or merchandising is desirable, as is knowledge of the local area and proficiency in reading maps.
