Position Details:
Location: Not specified
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Compensation: $20 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage professionally with clients, visitors, and team members.
  • Exhibit proper phone etiquette.
  • Assist clients with the transportation of various freight types into and out of designated areas.
  • Prepare essential shipping documents, including manifests, bills of lading, and proof of deliveries (PODs).
  • Maintain knowledge of import regulations for receiving countries and ensure compliance with export documentation.
  • Organize and manage all inbound and outbound files, ensuring timely follow-up with clients on critical dates.
  • Maintain email communication with service providers, responding promptly to logistics inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to facilitate the loading and unloading of container shipments.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and uphold commitments.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices.
  • Assist with routing and light dispatching of local deliveries and pickups.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Exhibit excellent time management skills.
  • Work effectively under pressure.
  • Demonstrate a detail-oriented and motivated approach.
  • Possess strong customer service skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US and be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in customer service.
  • Experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with basic office equipment such as computers, printers, copiers, fax machines, and phone systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
