About the Role

NanIQ Global Logistics LLC is seeking a highly skilled Ground Service Equipment Maintenance Lead to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our ground service equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform regular inspections of ground service equipment, conduct routine maintenance and servicing, and diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Equipment Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor equipment performance, report any irregularities to operations managers and corporate, and maintain records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and failures, utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to resolve issues, and coordinate with other technicians and departments for complex repairs.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and company policies during maintenance activities, conduct safety inspections, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, ensure timely ordering and replenishment of parts, and maintain an organized and efficient workspace.
  • Vendor Management: Identify GSE mechanic sub-contractors at each station, manage GSE mechanic sub-contractors work to ensure cost-efficient and timely delivery.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technological advancements, provide recommendations for improving equipment reliability and efficiency, and participate in training and development programs.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certification or diploma in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance or a related field.
  • Previous experience with ground service equipment is highly desirable.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and maintenance equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have the right to work in the United States.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
  • Standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
  • Working in various weather conditions.
  • Airport or transportation facility setting.
  • Exposure to loud noises, hazardous materials, and machinery.
