The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating logistics functions and warehouse activities to ensure optimal tracking, utilization, and upkeep of equipment. This role acts as the key liaison for system management, interdepartmental training, and process enhancement while providing guidance and leadership in multifaceted logistics initiatives across diverse sectors, including telecommunications, military, and government.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Safety Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, Training Manager, and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the equipment tracking system.
  • Facilitate system usability meetings, summarizing and prioritizing issues to improve interdepartmental processes.
  • Conduct extensive training sessions for new employees and create comprehensive work plans and job aids to maintain quality standards.
  • Collaborate with management and vendors to uphold master project plans and schedules for complex logistics projects; manage inventory to support ongoing operational requirements.
  • Oversee multiple logistics projects, ensuring adherence to customer timelines and delivering customized logistics and warehouse services to clients.
  • Manage daily operations of equipment, location, and catalog data in the tracking system, along with associated documentation.
  • Document and monitor the transition to new transport, network management, and operational systems.
  • Assist in system upgrades and adapt processes in response to a dynamic and evolving environment.

Qualifications:

Security Clearance:

Active/current Secret clearance is mandatory.

Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in logistics management and warehouse operations, ideally within a technology or engineering context.
  • Proficiency in utilizing and managing equipment tracking systems.
  • Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Exceptional communication and training skills, with a background in leading cross-departmental teams.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, including vendors and suppliers.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in logistics within telecommunications, military, or government sectors.
  • Advanced training or certification in logistics, project management, or related disciplines.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage system upgrades and transitions.
