Key Responsibilities- Provide intake services for the Employee Relations and Equal Opportunity units, serving as the first point of contact for employees with questions and concerns.
- Participate in conduct-conflict management for managers, supervisors, and employees, providing support and guidance on disciplinary processes.
- Support the disciplinary and separation processes, conducting exit interviews and maintaining documentation and files for investigations, incidents, and programs.
- Maintain all recordkeeping and reporting on investigations, incidents, and programs within Human Resources, collecting and analyzing employee relations and EEO data and preparing standard and ad-hoc reports.
- Assist in the design and instruction of workshops and training on HR-related issues and topics, handling special projects and other HR-related functions as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, preferred.
- A minimum of four years' experience in progressively responsible positions, particularly in dealing with matters of sensitivity and confidentiality.
- Skilled in maintaining policy and procedural documentation, possessing strong analytical skills to conduct analysis and develop recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise excellent judgment in responding to employee relations-related requests, with a high level of sensitivity in dealing with diverse individual needs.
- Ability to organize work and prioritize tasks to meet established and variable deadlines, flexibility to respond in stressful situations and unexpected job demands with frequent interruptions and minimum supervision.
- Project support experience with a proven ability to collaborate and work as a team in successfully delivering projects on time and within approved budget.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and exercise discretion and judgment on matters of significance, with excellent writing skills to prepare clear, concise, and well-written documents.
- Ability to demonstrate tact and diplomacy and maintain a high level of confidentiality, with a strong analytical skills to identify problems and systematically gather relevant information, identify root causes, and effectively present data.
- Master's degree in Human Resources.
