POSITION SUMMARY:

The Billing Specialist at Anchin will play a crucial role within a dedicated team responsible for managing client invoicing processes. This position entails the preparation and distribution of invoices, monitoring payments, and ensuring the accuracy and currency of billing information. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various departments, including partners and administrative staff, to address billing inquiries and guarantee timely and correct client billing. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong communication abilities and a proactive approach, with aspirations for professional growth within the firm.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and issue invoices to clients on a consistent schedule.
  • Verify the accuracy of invoices, ensuring all essential details are included.
  • Collaborate with the Anchin India team on various billing tasks.
  • Engage with clients to address billing inquiries or concerns.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to resolve any billing disputes or issues.
  • Maintain and update client billing records within the company's billing system.
  • Ensure all billing documentation is precise and current.
  • Analyze regular reports on billing activities and accounts receivable status.
  • Provide financial summaries to management as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in billing practices.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in billing or accounting roles.
  • Strong grasp of billing and accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Outstanding communication and client relationship management skills.
  • Proficient in STAR PM, STAR Web, or similar billing software.
