About the Role:

As an Assistant General Manager at Bojangles' Restaurants, Inc., you will play a key role in leading our teams to provide exceptional customer experiences in Southern Hospitality. You will work closely with the General Manager to develop and lead a team that drives traffic, sales, and profitability in our restaurants, while maintaining a customer-centric culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • People:
    • Create a welcoming culture in the store, where team members feel respected and valued.
    • Actively seek growth opportunities or assignments for development.
    • Communicate effectively with all guests (internal and external).
    • Take an active role with all new team members.
    • Effectively demonstrate our Cultural Principles in every interaction.
  • Performance:
    • Be a subject matter expert and adhere to all systems and processes, including BoFood and BoLabor.
    • Uphold standards and take corrective action when standards are not being met.
    • Empower team members to maintain WOW guest service with every interaction.
    • Reduce R&M through proper manager walks, process execution, and timely escalation of opportunities.
  • Profit:
    • Understand the restaurant's P&L results.
    • Understand how quality, service, and cleanliness impact sales.
    • Actively participate in inventory management.
    • Demonstrate and uphold all safety and security standards.
    • Engage in all LTOs throughout the LTO life cycle, including training and POP by deadlines.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of management experience.
  • 18 years or older.
  • Able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
  • Available to work any shift, 7 days a week, with a required 50-hour work week.
  • Prior supervisory experience with a coaching mindset.
  • Previous onboarding experience with employees at all levels.
  • Prior Microsoft Office experience.
  • Prior cash handling and bank deposit experience.
  • Ability to multi-task and lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to bend, stand, kneel frequently, lifting 25+ lbs.
