About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our team at Total Quality Logistics (TQL). As a Purchased Transportation Sales Executive, you will be responsible for growing our purchased transportation FTL business with LTL carriers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with LTL carriers to gain their FTL purchased transportation business
  • Collaborate with our Logistics Account Executive to price business and negotiate contracts
  • Work with our sales teams to grow the business with active carriers as customers
  • Be the escalation point for business issues with carriers
  • Communicate industry trends and market conditions to TQL leadership and operations teams

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
  • 2+ years LTL logistics experience
  • Brokerage experience preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • High sense of urgency with a results-oriented focus
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
  • Self-directed with the ability to solve problems with minimal oversight
