Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at MCR Hotels. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth and maximizing sales strategies across the hotel portfolio.
About the RoleThe Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to achieve optimal occupancy and ADR growth. This includes:
- Maximizing total revenues and controlling expenses to meet and exceed hotel profitability objectives
- Overseeing operations of the hotel sales department, including direct sales, follow-up, sales administration, hiring, training, managing, and coaching
- Executing and supporting the operational aspects of business booked, including generating proposals, writing contracts, and customer correspondence
- Building and maintaining professional relationships with clients, third-party meeting planners, referral sites, and other key sources as lead generators

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of hospitality sales and marketing principles, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you will need:
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Sales experience in hospitality or a related field
- A valid driver's license in the applicable state
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to influence others and negotiate
- Experience with professional selling skills: opening, probing, supporting, closing
